My portraits often portray the people in my life, be they friends, family, a local shop owner or someone I met during my travels.
I accept commissions and, where possible I prefer to meet the subject in person prior to doing the portrait. However I can and do, occasionally get requests for portraits where the only reference available is photographs. This is perfectly acceptable.
